I suck at this

Ok ok ok... I know all of you are mad at me for totally sucking at keeping up to date with this blog.  I promise this will all change.  As many of you may know, PJ, Samantha and I (and the dogs) are relocating to North Carolina!  PJ is already down there, somewhat unpacked, and today is his first day at his new job.  He is working for RCR Racing.  To all you NON-Nascar fans, that's Richard Childress Racing.  Go ahead and google it. :)  I had too.  He will be doing the design, printing and installation of the NASCAR graphics for this racing team.  Regardless of how you feel about NASCAR, that's pretty cool!! 
I've been looking for jobs, applying, etc.. nothing yet, so with that being said, this blog will be updated MUCH more often.  My goal is to update this at least twice a week.  I will not be down there until the week after Christmas.  So please be patient with me!!

I will definitely be uploading Christmas pictures as soon as possible.  In the meantime, I'll add two pictures that I've taken with my phone.  Just to hold you over.

To catch you up just a bit....
November FLEW by.  Poor Samantha was sick for pretty much all of it.  She had bronchitis and a sinus infection.  She was on a nebulizer.  It broke my heart.  She was so good though.  She remained relatively happy during the whole sickness.  She is now with Grandma (miranda) every day until I move.  She's having a great time and boy is she getting big!

Sam discovers winnie

It was like all of a sudden, Samantha noticed there was a dog following her around.  Poor Boomer, Samantha definitely prefers Winnie, for now anyways.

So we tried the rice cereal to start.. she got a rash from it!  So we tried the oatmeal cereal and boy did she love it.  See the video and pictures below :)

Samantha is adjusting to daycare!  She's happier and taking better naps.  The other kids are her entertainment.  Kellie, her daycare provider sends me pictures and texts through out the day.  Here are some of my favorites.

Samantha's 2nd Photoshoot - Pumpkin Patch - Oct 23rd

So Samantha had her 2nd photo shoot.  She was just a few days over her four month mark. (can you believe it!!)  Nicole, who did her 6 week pictures, helped us out once again by meeting us in the pumpkin patch for a little fall fun!  She was much easier to work with this time, haha.

Just a random update

Hey everyone! Nothing really epic over here, but wanted to share some pictures with you.  She's been doing really great at daycare.  This past week was one of her best.  She's starting to notice things around her.  She tried the bouncer for the first time too!  Don't worry she doesn't actually bounce just yet!  But she plays with all the lights and sounds on it.

Tubby and Tummy time! (updated with working video)

Samantha is just starting to enjoy her tummy time!!!  Shes finally using her activity mat.  She is three months old already!  Can you believe it?  She's starting to explore the world around here.  She is listening to the noises around her.. and  noticing the dogs finally :)

She absolutely LOVES taking a bath.  I am thanking my lucky stars for that one.  I've heard horror stories about babies not liking their baths... phew, dodged a bullet there.

Daycare update

Samantha seems to be adjusting, slowly, to daycare.  She isn't on a set schedule just yet but.. definitely settling in.   Poor Kellie has her in the carrier almost all day long sometimes.  She is actually napping in the pack n play though.  Small steps but... important none the less.
Kellie sends me texts and pictures throughout the day to let me know how she's doing.  Here are some pictures from the last two weeks!  Enjoy!

Samantha's first photoshoot

I was lucky enough to be introduced (awhile ago) to a friend named Nicole Kroll.  She is a fantastic photographer and was sweet enough to take pictures of our little one.  She was only 4 weeks old, and a little difficult to photograph.  We were on HER terms haha.   Nicole will be taking pictures of her again at 6 months and a year!  We can't wait!  If you want to see some of her work, or hire her for your own photoshoot, please see the facebook link at the bottom of this page!  In the meantime, here are a few of our favorite shots!
